What is that smell in my Honda Civic?
The other day I was in my car and you smell something dead in it. I searched all over the inside, bottom, engine and find nothing. Honda says it could be in the Fan Motor but they want $ 90 to check. Any suggestions on where this can come of? How much would a mechanic charge to locate the source of this entity with a bad odor? It will not disappear!
The Heater Core, probably out of you. When things go wrong and start leaking coolant + fluids water and dry the car smells of the worst on the planet. The worst part of that besides the horrible smell that comes from a bad heater core is that it is all the way behind the engine or sometimes all the way in the back of the board so that the work will be costly. Are some carpet area near the instrument panel ever soaked in water?
