Blow air through defrost mainly through on 97 chevy van business?

no matter what system configuration is in the air blows through defrost almost all a bit over the others, but especially defrost no matter what configuration is any idea please?

I had the same problem in my company in 98. mine was a vacume leak under the battery box. but could have been several places, took most of a Saturday to get her. I do not know if the line below the battery box is a common point of failure or not, but it is the supply line for the door which controls the flow of air, the mix door control heating / cold mix in a different circuit. If you have moderate mechanical skills can track this down, it would take a hand vacume pump (around $ 45) by providing vacume start to switch, if the door starts, draws the supply line back to the run, you run out of the firewall on the right side down low and under the battery box where it crosses with the engine which collects vacume its offer.
